MY OBJECTIVE :

This page is dedicated to a special game called Wizardry. It was made for the Apple computer in 1981 by Sir Tech Software. Currently Sir Tech is in the process of releasing Wizardry 8. Wizardry 1 "The Proving Grounds Of The Mad Overlord" is a game that truly defined role playing games. I use to spend hours playing, mostly late school nights with my brother Dean and our friend Chris from down the street. I remember the first time we entered the monster allocation center. We got slaughtered. To guide ourselves through the 10 levels we would use graph paper to create maps and by the time we finally met WERDNA, we had the levels memorized. Well I don't have them memorized anymore so included a page of all the maps ( I still like graph paper). I also remember the first time we accidentally had our Bishop identify item 9 and received tons of experience points. We never knew we found the only true secret in the game.

I have tried to remember all our characters names: (but could only remember 4 out of the original 6)

Deceon - The Fighter that eventually became our Ninja
Calcus - The Cleric
Abercrombie - The Bishop that miraculously gained tons of EXP points
LiteFingers - The Thief

Jack Flack - I think I finally remembered another characters name..I liked the name Jack Flack from the movie Cloak and Dagger. This was the name of another Fighter!!

Anyway, I have searched the web for any and all info that I can use on this page. I have referenced those links at the bottom of my page. I am not trying to steal their work. I only wish preserve it and the memory of this classic game.

Looking for something specific, then just type it in the search box and my site miner will scan through my various Wizardry Pages to seek out the information you desire. Hope it makes your Wizardry Hunting a little easier
