Wizardry ProDOS Support
=======================

6 June 2024

This Wizardry scenario can be played using a ProDOS shell by Peter Ferry (qkumba).

It runs on the Wizardry v3.1 game engine by Eric Labelle (snafaru).

You can play using an Apple II emulator or a real Apple II computer.

It is distributed as a 3.5" 800K disk image that can be mounted as a hard drive image on an emulator such as AppleWin or on real hardware on either a real 3.5" floppy disk or disk emulator.

In AppleWin you can mount its .po file in Slot 7 as a hard disk image, or Slot 5 using this switch "-s5h1 <full path to disk image>". The advantage of using Slot 5 is that you can boot regularly from Slot 6 or 7 and run Wizardry when you are ready to do so.

All you need to know to start playing is in the Wizardry Additional Players Guide included in this package.

Note: Qkumba provided a quality of life enhancement in the ProDOS version where you can repeat the last spell cast using your keyboard's up arrow.

Enjoy!

Eric Labelle a.k.a. Snafaru
