Alliance QuestsPrinter Friendly Version |
Although this quest starts rather late you get several clues that the Umpani and T'Rang don't hate one another nearly as much as they hate the Dark Savant. Little bits and snatches of conversations clue you in to the fact that each of these nations are missing a person important to them. So finding these two individuals also finds you the beginning of this quest. The steps listed below will need to be accomplished to bring peace between the T'Rang and Umpani. |
Words of caution: Occasionally Z'Ant seems to randomly discover your double agent status when you work for both the T'Rang and Umpani he becomes hostile. If he is hostile to the party at this point it is best to visit Yamir first, or initiate all contacts with Z'Ant by dropping a quest item on him rather than opening a dialogue. The Chaos Moliri or the Alliance Letter from the Umpani will keep him in check and prevent his attacking the party. |
Step 1Find the missing scouts Rodan Lewarx (Umpani) and Drazic (T'Rang) in the Rapax Away Camp #5.Prerequisites: You must have in your possession 2 of the 3 Artifacts needed for Ascension. Reward: Break Rodan out of the Stockade: 100,000 experience Reward: Break Drazic out of the Stockade: 100,000 experience Details: In order to even get this Quest you will need to have performed at least two of the Ascension Quests dealing with gathering the 3 Artifacts, the Astral Dominae, Chaos Moliri, and the Destinae Dominus. You may also have already completed the Rapax Quest of becoming a Templar, but it is NOT required. Basically upon releasing the pair from their cells in the Stockade and recruiting them into the party begins the Quest. Tip: If you have not performed the Templar Rapax Quest you can use the "combat sneak" to run past the Guards who stop you at the entrance of the camp while they are still neutral. You need to get out of their zone, so head toward the first tent on the right. Once inside the camp you can wander about freely choosing a point for an initial attack. If you do enter this way the Stockade Guard must die in order for you to obtain a key to open the first lock of the Stockade. |
Step 2-3Get Rodan and Drazic safely to Z'Ant in Lower Marten's Bluff (#2) & General Yamir in the Mt.Gigas Upper Caves (#12) (It does not matter which you see first.)Prerequisites: The T'Rang Quest telling Z'Ant the coordinates of the Black Ship. Reward: Z'Ant gives 400,000 experience Reward: Yamir gives 400,000 experience Reward: He'Li, He'Li's Bar Arnika 50,000 experience, 3,000 gold, Doubleman Draught Details: No matter where you begin each of your companions will have a chat with their respective leader and convince them that an Alliance is their only chance if they hope to withstand the combined forces of the Dark Savant and the Rapax. If Z'ant is visited first he will give the party a Tracking Device that contains the coordinates of the Dark Savant's Black Ship and an Alliance letter for the Umpani. If General Yamir is visited first he will give an Alliance Letter for the T'Rang. Alternate: If you have not performed the quest giving the Black Ship coordinates to Z'Ant, Rodan and Drazic will accompany you on the quest. Use caution when traveling with this pair. If either dies or becomes unconscious the other will leave if the condition of their compatriot isn't cured in a timely manner. Getting them to rejoin the party can sometimes be difficult and the other half of this duo must be alive and well for them to rejoin. |
Step 4Destroy the Black ShipPrerequisites: Must have the T'Rang Tracking Device Reward: 400,000 experience Details: Speak to General Yamir and he gives you a Top Secret Security card to access Mt. Gigas Peak. Use the Umpani Gun (#4) and the T'Rang Tracking Device to destroy the Black Ship. Simply hold the tracking Device over the panel of the gun control and click it on the button. Return to Yamir for the reward. Rodan and Drazic will leave the party at this time. |
Yamir tells you to gather the three Artifacts and meet the combined armies of the T'Rang and Umpani on Ascension Peak. They never make it, you're on your own Soldiers! |
