Apparently this item was originally intended to be a Modern Weapon but was classed as Misc. Magic instead. There is a fuel tank in the item database for it but it never appears in the game. It is not known if the fuel tank functions properly to recharge this item.

As it stands this item may be recharged by selling it to a vendor and buying it back. The problem is you must allow at least 1 charge to remain on the item, if its uses go to 0 the item disappears from inventory.
