Q: I heard there is a way to get to Lower Marten's Bluff from here but every time I try the Mine Carts I wind up back in the Tunnels. How do I set the controls to get to Lower Marten's Bluff??

The clues on how to set the panel to reach Lower Marten's Bluff via mine cart from the Old Mine Tunnels are in the control room with Tantris (4).

Press the button in the upper left corner of the panel. A panel on the back wall near the "slimy" water pops up revealing the correct settings to reach Lower Marten's Bluff.

 
 
 

Q: What are the other exits for the mine carts?

There are four possible destinations when taking a mine cart ride. Referring to the above image the top left circle (X) refers to the shack location where the party is when viewing this panel. Each circle has two possible positions. When turning the circles begin at X and make sure the indicators line up with a destination at 1, 2, 3, or 4. The combination is currently set to exit at 1. The destinations are described below.

1 Flying snakes and some items, leads to a lever when used allows some boulders to fall 2 Empty crates, leads to a metal door that exits by the log pile 3 Cavern, leads to a pressure plate that opens the metal gate 4 Lower Marten's Bluff
