Once Marten disappears and the Destinae Dominus is in your hands, the ghosts of Marten's Bluff roam free, with no rallying call of an insane man to keep their rampage at bay.

- (T'Rang Special Notice to all Drones, Keepers and Warriors) -

"Ghosts are on the march in the Lower Bluff.

Not so much in the combative sense, but apparently having recently lost their leader, the ghosts have been wandering the halls... asking questions, seeking interesting things to amuse themselves with, and generally presenting a tactical nuisance of themselves.  There have even been reports that the more forward of the spiritual wanderers have been attacking in a lackadaisical boredom.

While these incidents have not presented themselves a serious problem as of yet, as our numbers are far too heavy and powerful to overwhelm with such a pathetic force, they are getting tiresome.

Considering that we are in the midst of a war with the bloated toads of the IUF and the treacherous snake that fashions himself a God, the Dark Savant, we cannot have these security risks running around, haphazardly ruining that which we are seeking to accomplish.

All available personnel, especially those with militaristic prowess, are asked to patrol the halls and eradicate this spiritual annoyance before it becomes something worthy of the attention of the T'Rang Empire.  Special care and consideration is to be shown to the Youngers and the portal from the Nargisst Shuttle.

See Sadok for a new Rod constructed solely for the purpose of exterminating these pests."

That's right, it's time to do some Ghost Busting!

Sadok greets your party and provides the mission: Slay ghosts, as many as you can find.  He freely offers you the Death Rod to aid you in this task.

Every ghost that is slain with this Rod drops Vibuti Ash, which can be redeemed with Sadok for 5000 gold a pop.

It's important to know that there are good ghosts and bad ghosts, greens and reds.  The greens will even help with the battle, but at the end, get real chatty about random things (Hey, they're dead.  Can't blame 'em!).

Eventually, you come to a locked door in the very bottom area of Lower Marten's Bluff, near the Power Room and the Mindblast Rod.

Openable only through Finger Rod (dropped carelessly by one of the ghosts after you give them a little guide in exorcism), the door leads to a network of caves that go deeper and deeper into the Bluff.

Fighting off droves of ghosts who get more insane and vicious as you delve deeper, eventually you come to the final area, where you find the ghost horde!

A dozen or two ghosts lie in wait, but so does a T'Rang ambush.  The T'Rang and You vs. The Ghost Band battle continues for quite a while, until you win, of course.  If not, try again, and use Magic Screen.

Through a small door in the back, there lies the problem!  It's that hanging skeleton from the graveyard on Arnika-Trynton Road!  Wondered where he sank to when you splashed him earlier?  Well, here he is again (Obviously if you didn't splash him yet, this quest can't start just yet).

One more douse of Holy Water ends this trouble for good... though the chatty ghosts still roam around harassing random T'Rang.
