As we see from the professional requirements a Ninja will prove quite
a developmental challenge. To develop a Ninja one must make specific choices.
Some of those choices may well hinge on the race chosen for the job.
With their professional bonus of thrown criticals and thrown auto-penetrate
you can always count on the Ninja damaging your opponents as long as they
can hit them. Dexterity is the primary controlling attribute of the Throwing
& Sling skill which is a Ninja's strength. Watching your Ninja throw
a feather dart for a couple of points of damage isn't real impressive,
but watching them throw that same dart for an Instant Kill certainly is.
You cannot go wrong by improving a Ninja's Dexterity as it is instrumental
in developing many of their skills. All weapon choices, physical skills,
and even Alchemy itself rely heavily on Dexterity. Magical development
for the Ninja does not need to rely solely on casting spells. The Alchemy
skill can, and will advance quite swiftly simply by mixing
potions. |
