web page: http://www.zimlab.com/wizardry -------------------- Level 1 - Orb of Llylgamyn (18E,9N,1D) to pass at 8E,17N,1D. - Silver Key (27E,14N,1D) to unlock door at 5E,27N,1D. - Brass Key (near 18E,28N,1D) buy it from Ironose to unlock door at 6E,3N,1D. - Bag of Tokens (5E,8N,1D) and use it at the elevator 12E,4N,1D. - See the riddles section for the answers to the riddles. -------------------- Level 2 - Potion of Spirit-Away (8E,0N,2D) use combination ACF to make it. - Jeweled Scepter (4E,0N,2D) use Potion of Spirit-Away to get it. Then use it at 12E,5N,3D. - Bottle of Rum (3W,14S,2D) and give it to the Ruby Warlock at 7W,3N,2D. - Hacksaw (4E,3N,2D) and use it for the chains at 2E,15S,2D. - Munke Wand (9E,10N,2D) give the Rubber Duck to the Duck of Sparks to get it, then use it at 1W,13S,7D. -------------------- Level 3 - Rubber Duck (near E17,10S,3D) buy it from the Mad Stomper and give it to the Duck of Sparks at 9E,10N,2D. Also, when equipped, the Rubber Duck lets one swim to any level, just buy another one from the Mad Stomper later on. - Gold Key (26E,14S,3D) swim to level G, swimmer must not be carrying gold. Then use it at 15W,21S,4D. - Pocket Watch (6E,9N,3D) use Battery and press buttons CDEG to get it. Then use it at 2E,24S,4D. - Blue Candle (12E,8N,3D) to pass at 12E,25S,3D. - Petrified Demon (3W,14S,3D) swim to level H to get it. Then use it at 6E,17S,4D. -------------------- Level 4 - Battery (11E,7S,4D) use it at 6E,9N,3D. - Jack of Spades (11E,16S,4D) use it at 6W,5N,7D. - Skeleton Key (9E,9S,4D) swim to level J to get it. Then use it at 4E,24S,4D. - Lark in a Cage (2E,24S,4D) use Pocket Watch then buy it from The Loon. Use it at 13W,1S,7D. -------------------- Level 5 - Ticket Stubs (7E,1S,5D) buy them from Big Max and then give them to him to pass. -------------------- Level 6 - Ice Key (0E,2S,6D) to unlock door at 5E,25S,6D. - Gold Medallion (around 8W,2S,6D) steel it from Evil Eyes. Then use it at 14E,5S,6D. - Queen of Hearts (8W,9S,6D) swim to level N to get it. Then use it at 5E,5N,7D. - King of Diamonds (8E,25S,6D) use it at 6W,6S,7D. -------------------- Level 7 - Staff of Water (10E,12N,7D) equip the rubber duck and swim to level P to get it. - Staff of Earth (5W,13S,7D) use Munke Wand at 1W,13S,7D to get there. - Lightning Rod (13E,8N,7D) use it to pass at 13E,4S,7D. - Staff of Fire (13E,9S,7D) use Lightning Rod at 13E,4S,7D to get there. - Staff of Air (12W,7S,7D) answer the riddle, use Lark in a Cage at 13W,1S,7D to get there. -------------------- Level 777 Lurk around to fight La-La Moo-Moo and other big monsters to gain the best weapons and armor. -------------------- Level 8 - Ace of Clubs (6E,0N,8D) part of the endgame sequence. - Heart of Abriel (0E,0N,8D) needed to learn the Abriel spell. -------------------- Extremely useful items - Holy Talisman (8E,24N,1D) buy it from G'Bli Gedook for unlimited Dumapic. - Silver Mail is found from successfully defeating monsters. Start equiping your character, but do not equip the Silver Mail, but do use its special power for unlimited Madi spells. - Go to the Gentle Pool (19W,1S,5D) and swim to level C to get fully cured and even resurrected from ashes! - Get the Rubber Duck from the Mad Stomper and equip it in order to swim to any level of any pool. -------------------- How to get down to level 6 and 7 and beyond fast - Teleport from the castle's stairs to 13E,2N,6D (Malor 13E,2N,5D) to quickly access level 6, then walk to the stairs at 10E,27S,6D. -------------------- Answers to some riddles - The answer to the riddle at 20E,27N,1D is: vampire - Conveyor belt at 6E,4N,1D - Start: ACBD Stop: DBCA - The disks on level 4 work in such a way that you activate them according to the direction you must go. NOFE means north, EITZ means east, SAOT means south and WUXT means west. - The answer to the riddle at 1W,24S,4D is : time - The Mannequin at 7E,18S,6D is activated with parts assembled in the following order: GDAFEBC - The answer to the riddle at 12W,7S,7D is: life -------------------- Good places to quickly acquire experience points - Fight the Vampire at 20E, 27N, 1D. Hint: after killing it, just turn round and round on the same square and he will appear again! Bring on some Latumofis potions or spells though. - Fight the Armor Eaters at 15E, 1N, 1D. Hint: make sure your fighters don't wear valuable armor! Although they can wear shields, gloves, etc. Use same tactic as above to fight again. - Fight the Living Rock at 13E, 23N, 1D. - Fight the Laughing Kettle at 22E, 30N, 1D. Hint: you need at least 3 fighters of around level 15 or above, a priest to cast Bamordi and at least one mage to cast Bacortu every round. Then resurrect the Laughing Kettle at the Temple of Cant and fight it some more for a gazillion experience points! - Take the shimmering portal at 15E, 9N, 1D which will bring you to the Den of Thieves for experience points AND buy better armor and weapons. - Fight the Hurkle Beast around the elevator on level 2. - Take the elevator to level 5 and turn around until you meet some guards. - Turn around the stairs at 13W,3S,6D for fairly easy monsters to fight. If your party gets weak, climb the stairs and go to the nearby pool at 19W,1S,5D to get fully cured and then go back down to fight some more! -------------------- Endgame Sequence To start the endgame sequence you need the Queen of Hearts, Jack of Spades, King of Diamonds, the Orb of Llylgamyn, Staff of Water, Staff of Earth, Staff of Fire and Staff of Air. Go to the Lord of Hearts at 5E,5N,7D and give him the Queen of Hearts to pass. Then goto the Blue flame at 1W,1S,7D and use the Orb of Llylgamyn and take the portal which brings you to 0E,11S,8D. Fight your alter ego at 0E,6S,8D. Equip and use the Staff of Water at 0E,4S,8D and light candles BEH then answer GROWTH to the riddle. Go back to the portal where you came from. Go to the Lord of Spades at 6W,5N,7D and give him the Jack of Spades to pass. Then goto the Red flame at 0E,1S,7D and use the Orb of Llylgamyn and take the portal which brings you to 11W,0N,8D. Fight your alter ego at 6W,0N,8D. Equip and use the Staff of Earth at 4W,0N,8D and light candles ADI then answer NATURE to the riddle. Take the portal where you came from. Go to the Lord of Diamonds at 6W,6S,7D and give him the King of Diamonds to pass. Then goto the Yellow flame at 0E,0N,7D and use the Orb of Llylgamyn and take the portal which brings you to 11E,0S,8D. Fight your alter ego at 6E,0S,8D, you will get the card Ace of Clubs(to be used in the next step). Equip and use the Staff of Fire at 4E,0S,8D and light candles CFG then answer CHANGE to the riddle. Take the portal where you came from. Go to the Lord of Clubs at 5E,6S,7D and give him the Ace of Clubs to pass. Then goto the White flame at 1W,0N,7D and use the Orb of Llylgamyn and take the portal which brings you to 0E,11N,8D. Fight your alter ego at 0E,6N,8D. Equip and use the Staff of Air at 0E,4N,8D and light all candles ABCDEFGHI then answer MAN to the riddle. Take the portal where you came from. Go back to the Lord of Hearts and give him the Queen of Hearts again. Then go to 0E,0N,8D to fight the SORN. A mage in your party is absolutely necessary here. Also, a high level samurai or another mage is extremely helpful to cast some Socordi spells to slow down the opposition. If you defeat the SORN and company, you will be given the Heart of Abriel. Then you Malor directly back up 7 levels and take the stairs to the castle. You will be shown the endgame text screen with the proper honors as well as the opportunity to scribe the Abriel spell in your mage's spellbook. Dos and donts of the endgame: In order to successfully complete the endgame sequence you must not go back to the castle during the process or you will have to start over. If your party is getting weak or if members died along the way from fighting, go swim to level C of the Gentle Pool at 19W,1S,5D and/or use you Silver Mail's special power. In order to easily defeat your alter ego use the Labadi spell on the mages/samurais first and use Tiltowait on everyone. --------------------
